Best of Tri-County Area Preps

Join the News-Star as we celebrate and honor the accomplishments of the 2020-2021 All-Star high school student athletes and student scholars at the annual Best of Tri-County Area Preps Awards on May 3, 2021 at FireLake Arena. The Best of Tri-County Area Preps awards banquet is our way of saying thank you to the outstanding high school students, athletes, coaches, and fans who allow us to share their stories, performances and passions. Sponsored by Patriot Auto Group, The Citizen Potawatomi Nation and FireLake Arena, awards will be presented to the Outstanding Player of the Year in each sport, as well as Male Athlete of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year, FFA Student of the Year, Student Scholar of the Year, and Coach of the Year. Best of Tri-County Area Preps honoree students are invited to attend for free and the event is open to family, friends and the general public. Due to COVID-19, this year's event will be limited capacity.

Doors open at 5:30pm. Event starts at 6:00pm. General admission tickets may be purchased for $35. General admission and honoree admission include dinner and awards ceremony. Seating is first-come, first-served. Best of News-Star Preps honorees, redeem your free ticket using the promo code ALLSTAR. All honorees MUST register to confirm their attendance at the event. The deadline for honoree registration and general admission ticket purchases is Friday, April 30 unless the event sells out first.
